That's what my dad calls the community ed class we are taking together. Actually, it's titled Acting for Radio. We started on Monday, and it was an interesting class. There are only 7 students, which makes it an intimate setting. I'm only one of two girls, which feels like my Auto Mechanics class in High School.
Anyway, at our first class, we got the script for a radio play we will be doing on our last day of class. By default, I got the bigger girl's role. (The other girl in the class won't be there for the performance.) It's an interesting play, adapted from a Nathaniel Hawthorne story. No scarlet letters, but there is a scarecrow with a pumpkin head that becomes real. Doesn't that sound like a couple of different stories to you? Scarecrow-Wizard of Oz; pumpkins turning into something else-Cinderella? Anyway, it's a fun little story.
Dad did a good job reading his part! He was really expressive!
It was a fun daddy-daughter evening!

Hey! I just hired a company to create a radio ad for me...had I only known! You and your dad could have helped with the commercials for extra credit! =) You would have gotten an A, and I would have gotten more sales, the guy in my ad needed a lesson in expression!
