Phew!
Well, my first big ward activity is over. We had our Christmas party last night. After the fire engines and ambulance left, it was a pretty successful activity, I think. Now, don't get me wrong--we turned on the ovens to warm up some ham, and something burned off of the bottom. That set off the fire alarm, we didn't know how to turn it off and couldn't get a hold of anyone that did. Needless to say, I was a little stressed. All in all, I think it was fine. I'm sure the next one will be even better.

So, did Santa come on the fire truck to greet all the kids? That would be fun...
It could happen to anyone, Jen. At least we know that the fire department is alert!
I think whoever left the burn spot on the bottom of the oven is actually the one you should blame, but who's ponting fingers??
