Distinction

That's what they say, right? Wrinkles give you distinction?
Today, I was looking in the mirror and noticing the crow's feet around my eyes. My reaction was a little surprising. I didn't mind them. In fact, I was kinda proud of them. Now, mind you, I spend most of my time being blissfully oblivious to the other wrinkles that have found their way to my face. I only really see them when I have my contacts in, which is rare and a topic for a completely different entry.
Anyway, upon seeing my crow's feet, I was pleased and calm about it all. In my mind, they are a sign of a life lived thus far with laughter. Is there anything better or more healing than that?

I have laugh lines and they so many "friends" that it looks like a roadmap of downtown LA on my face! I am freakishly distinct. Is that the way to say it?
