Family Pictures

I HATE PICTURES!! Okay, let me clarify. I hate pictures of myself. I used to enjoy posing for pictures and seeing the results. I mean, how many pictures do I have from college alone?!? Now, I dread getting my picture taken. We have family pictures tonight, and I'm not looking forward to it. It's so much pressure to ensure that this is tucked, and this is stretched, and this is as thin as it can be. Even with all those modifications, I still end up getting pictures that look less-than-great. Someday, maybe I'll end up back to the point where I like being the subject of a photo. Until then, I'll try to avoid it as much as possible but remind myself that family pictures are important for posterity, even if my posterior is bigger than I would prefer.
