So, we have three guys working downstairs on repairing drywall and texturing the walls and ceilings. George and his team have been working down there for just about a week. Early in the morning, they are not my favorite people as they hammer, saw, and scrub on the other side of our floor.
However, when I'm fully awake, they crack me up! They laugh and joke with each other on a regular basis, and they almost always have music playing--not playing quietly, mind you, but blaring. Of course, you can't play music without singing along, which they do at the TOP OF THEIR LUNGS! (It's a really good thing they sing well!) Like I said, first thing in the morning or when I'm trying to watch TV and can't hear it over the "concert", it's not my favorite thing. But when I step back, it's pretty stinking funny! I'm glad they feel comfortable to be silly and enjoy themselves in our house while they work. I'm sure it makes their work day go more quickly, too.
