This morning, we got up and went to the National Postal Museum. Yes, it's true--one actually exists. To be honest, it was a pretty cool museum, too! Matt and I were there for just about an hour, and I didn't feel like I saw everything I would have liked. It's a Smithsonian museum, so, it's packed with information and cool things to do and see. (By the way, here's an interesting article about the history of the Smithsonian. Matt and I were talking about it earlier today--you know, was it named after a man or what? Find all your answers here.) Matt was particularly curious about this museum given that his company works closely with USPS. Fun museum!
After the museum and checking out of our hotel in DC, we headed for Philly. We were hoping to meet up with my fam in Pennsylvania for dinner tonight, but that fell through. Instead, Matt and I went to dinner at La Viola. It was tasty, and the service was excellent! It was a nice dinner. The rest of the evening, we hung out, played a game of Phase 10 dice and chatted. It was really relaxing.
Tomorrow, we're hoping to catch up with my grandma here in Philadelphia before we head up to New York. I know, we're world travelers.

Hi Jen,
I wish I'd known you'd be here! We live right outside D.C. We could have met for dinner or something. Don't you just love all of the museums? And the best part is most of them are free! Hope you are having a great trip.
Love,
Breeana
You know, I was thinking about you and wondering how close you were! Next time, we will for sure have to make that connection!!
