This morning, Dad and I drove up to Seattle to watch the BYU/University of Washington football game. Except for one of the players leaving in an ambulance, it was a great game! We were sitting among several other BYU fans, which made it a lot nicer. I was afraid we were going to be all by ourselves in a sea of purple.
The teams were back and forth the entire game. They would match each other touchdown for touchdown. It was exciting. To top it all off, BYU won this nail biter! Unfortunately, we weren't in the stadium for the ending. I was feeling kind of anxious about getting out before too much traffic, and I was starting to pay more attention to (amongst other things) how much of a sunburn I was going to get rather than enjoying the game. So, Dad, being the good sport that he is, he left with me during the 4th quarter. We listened to the end of the game on the freeway. It was exciting.
I felt badly for making Dad leave. He kept telling me it was okay, but I still felt bad. All in all, we were gone for about 11 hours and had a good time. Thanks for coming with me, Dad!!

Oh my BYU alumnus spirit is so jealous that you got to go to that game!
By the way, I'm horrible about leaving comments, but I do read your blog regularly. I love reading about all your experiences and family and remodeling, etc... Keep it up!
