Blog Posting

I've been thinking about this blog thing recently. Lots of times, I don't really feel like I have anything interesting to blog about. There are only so many entries I can do about work, church, house, and nieces (although, they're stinking cute!) Granted, today, I've had lots of things, but my day-t0-day life isn't that interesting. I hope that doesn't bore those of you who read my entries. Maybe I'll just have to look around more for the funny in my everyday life.
Speaking of funny, or rather kind of odd, Matt and I are singing with an octet from our ward. For various reasons, I had decided to not participate anymore, but I got dragged back in for one performance that is coming up this Saturday. Okay, here's the kind of odd part. We're singing at a fund-raising dinner for a Tae Kwon Do studio. Yeah, I never thought I would be doing that. We're singing three different songs that were arranged by the King Singers. It's been pretty fun to work on the music, especially Seaside Rendezvous, which was originally a Queen song. Imagine that a capella. It's really fun. The others are okay, but that one is super fun!
So, that's our Saturday night activity. Oh, that reminds me. Last weekend, we weren't able to meet up with my friends from growing up because of the house projects. I was bummed, but we were able to get a lot accomplished. We'll definitely reschedule the triple date (hopefully for a time after we've sold our house--fingers crossed, everyone?)

I want to hear the "boring" stuff too! It's kind of like "one man's trash is another man's treasure". You may think it's boring, but that's how I keep up with cousin's life. :)

Just because someone is a brute Tae Kwon Do-er, doesn't mean that person can't appreciate good music. (Does Queen qualify as 'good music'?)

Glad you're settling in your new house...good luck on selling the old one!
