Whew!!

Well, we are listing our old house today. In some ways, I thought we would never make it to this point. We had it cleaned and carpets done yesterday, and it looks SO good. It's such a cute house, and has really reached it potential, I think. Of course, that makes it kind of hard to leave, but we know we made the right decision. I'll see what I can do about putting some pictures on here. I wish I had before and after pictures, but after ones will have to do.
I'm a little anxious about the whole listing thing. I think part of it is because I hope we've done enough to make it appealing to someone. I really think it's a great house, but will someone else?
Anyway, I'll keep updating this blog as things develop.
In the news around this house, all the paneling and popcorn is cleared out downstairs. It makes such a HUGE difference. Pat, our construction guy, is working on patching the walls and finishing up the ceilings. Then, it's on to texture and paint!
On a side note, I've discovered that I'm becoming a geek in a new way. I know, I didn't think it was possible, either. However, with all these projects at both houses, I've learned a thing or two long the way. Now, I notice trim nail holes and other details in restaurants, around this house, all over. It's ridiculous, really.
