The House that Keeps on Giving

Last Friday, Pat was pulling up some of the blue shag carpet downstairs. He came up to ask me what I wanted him to do with the blue flooring. I figured he was talking about the carpet, but I soon discovered that he was refering to something much, much more 70's. Under the blue carpet in the room that will eventually be Matt's office, there was...bright blue vinyl flooring. Yep, bright blue. I was, to say the least, quite surprised. We decided to leave it there and just put carpet over it. Someday, someone will uncover that and (hopefully) see how far the house has come--a little time capsule so to speak. I don't have a picture of this fabled floor because our camera battery died, but I'll see what I can do about that. Until then, this will have to do. It's about the color of the darkest blue on the upright part of thing Penelope is laying on. Yeah, it's that bright. Oh, and it's textured. Classy... (Thought you might like the Penelope pic, too)

I like it, I think that you should keep the blue floor and just put down a nice throw rug.

I hope the old house sells soon!!
