Come, Thou Fount...

What got me thinking about BYU was a blog entry one of my friends wrote. She put a link to a BYU group performance of Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing. I've been listening to it as I was typing my entry about BYU. At one point in the song, I had to stop typing because I was so moved by the music. I love that song! That's another thing I'm grateful for--music. That's one of the best ways I feel the Spirit. Also, through music, I am remided often that Heavenly Father loves me just the way I am. He knows what I can become and loves me in spite of how far I am from that right now.
What a great evening. Thanks, Carlene, for your post that started all of this. :)

I love that song, too. Glad you had an uplifting evening. Those really help, don't they?

I'm glad you enjoyed listening to that as much as I did. It's such a powerful, moving song! It's funny that it takes you back to BYU, because it does the same for me! Every time I hear that song, I picture my former roommate and our friend singing in it our college apartment. Gotta love insipring music!
