Well, I've been leery about writing this because it seems to jinx everything when I post something about selling the house. So, here's the news. On May 31st, we got an offer on our house that was only slightly below offer price. We accepted it. Last Friday, we had our inspection that went fairly well. There are a few things to fix, then, we're good to go. The couple wants to close on August 1st, which is fine with us. So, as of August, we should only be owners of one home!! It's all very exciting!!!

Congrats on only owning one house! How exciting! (I'm sure the 'only one mortgage' thing is the most exciting part, right?)

Hope things go smoothly for the next few weeks. It is hard to wait for things to fall into place and worry about some last minute thing to happen. The great part about it, though, is that the people who buy will love the home and be so glad they bought it. We heard just the other day that the people who bought our former home (after it was was restored from the fire!) love it and are really glad they are there. Good news! Congrats on yours! Keep us posted (as they say :))
