Here's what our family room looks like, a before and after. Well, okay, a before we owned it and now. You can see the dark paneling and carpet in the before picture. Even pulling those out made a big difference. Granted, the top picture was taken at night and the bottom one during the day, but you get the idea. The groovy square lights are being replaced by normal can lights, too. Okay, I think that's all of my posting for tonight.

Light! I've learned that I value a bright room highly, since the forest leaves our current living room in shadow all the time. All. The. Time.
