My older brother, Jer, called mom to relate this story. Apparently, Jer and his family were trying to determine the schedule for the day. After gathering the girls together, Jer started out the conversation by saying a phrase that he uses often, "Okay, here's the poop." He didn't anticipate Sarah's (the 2 year old) response, "Not me!" Of course, this sent them all into laughter. After the giggles subsided, she continued, "I wet." Thanks for clearing that up.
In other niece news, I had conversations with Sarah's older sisters recently. They make me laugh. Bekah is 8 going on 35, I swear. We were talking about a movie that Matt hadn't see. Her reaction to the fact that he hadn't seen it: "Oooh, myyy gooosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh!" Apparently, it's a pretty important movie to see.
Elizabeth, or xl as she prefers to be called, was really cute when we were talking, too. When she first got on the phone after greeting me, she said, "So, how are you?" Such a sweet girl. Then, the beginning of every sentence was, "Guess what..." It was cracking me up.
Hannah is a chatterbox. She loves to talk about whatever comes to mind. This time, it was about pm kindergarten, which she starts in the fall. She was sure to clarify for me that it started in the fall when I asked if she started kindergarten this year.
By the way, her r's are rocking! I have to admit, it was pretty cute when she would announce that she was going to wear a "skut and shut" today (skirt and shirt). I've never heard a little kid pronounce r's like that. Eventhough it was cute, I'm so proud of her for working so hard on the sound.
Penelope is still, of course, adroable, too. Since I don't have a good story about her, I've included an cute picture.
I sure love my nieces! They are such a blessing in my life!!!
